CONSTRUCTION PHOTO-DOCUMENTATION
ALL RIGHTS RESERVED 2012
CPD is dedicated to promoting the industry-wide acceptance and use of photo-documentation on every construction project.
There is simply no easier, better, more cost effective way to photo-document every project than doing it yourself. CPD "The Program" will
give you all of the instructions, forms, tips and photographic techniques that you'll need to create and manage a true photo-documentation
program within your company.
Why you need Photo-Documentation:

For your records: No matter what happens, a good photographic record supports your work.
For your customers: Providing them with a complete photographic record of what you built is a gift that will keep on giving for the life of the
building.
Supports Quality Construction: When everyone working on the project knows that all of the work is being photographed it supports true
quality in construction.
Improved project team communications: Sharing your photographs on-line with the project team provides a visual communication that
helps move RFI's and Change Orders through with better understanding and documentation.
May prevent problems from going to litigations: A complete photographic record may help answer questions and settle disputes without
involving expensive Lawyers.
CPD's programs are aimed at developing
photo-documentation for contractors and especially
for the General Contractor, no one is better suited
for this task. Think about it, the GC is involved
with a project before actual construction begins and
is there after the project is turned over. The GC
works closely with the owner, project managers,
architects and engineers, inspectors, and all of the
sub-contractors on the site and no one has more to
gain from photo-documentation during construction.

Every sub-contractor and specialty contractor will
benefit from their own photo-documentation as
well. When you use the same process as the
General Contractor and Owners use all of the
photographs can be combined into a master
photo-document.

Learning how to photo-document the CPD way will
give you the best visual record you will ever get at
an absolute minimal cost in time and money.
